VI. I interviewed two individuals to see what their response would be to my (our) plan. Their responses are as follows.

What do you think about abortion?
"I think that there should not be abortions since you are killing a human. That is not it but also due to emotional and physical scars that will be with you forever."- Guadalupe Nunez
"No. Not at all. There should be no abortion at all, under any circumstances."- Rebeca Perez
Why?
"You are killing a child, even if it might not be a child at the time, eventually it will become one. It was your responsibility to have sexual intercourse; it is your responsibility to take care of the baby. There are consequences to what you do and you have to deal with them whether you like them or not."- Guadalupe Nunez
"No! Why? Didn't you have sexual intercourse knowing that there are consequences to that? A life is precious and should not be taken away from someone that is irresponsible." Rebeca Perez
What if the woman having the abortion gets raped?
"I would have to say that there should be a choice for this situation. If you don't want the child to suffer and you don't want yourself to suffer, then if you want to abort it is okay. Other than this situation there should be no abortion."- Guadalupe Nunez
"No. That is not the soon to be child's choice to be exterminated. You should keep the child because he didn't choose to be given birth. Enough said."- Rebeca Perez
VII. My (our) answer, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are:
I believe that we meet their concerns and we show that by the following information. Guadalupe stated that she doesn't want abortions to be legal since the pain and scars that leaves are immensely strong. She also said that there should be no abortion because you are killing a human being. I explained to her the steps that the baby goes through and explained that the embryo is not considered a human being until the 3rd month, or after the heart starts beating and the blood flowing, by definition. In that case, our law covers her concern for killing of a human being. As for Rebeca she said that there should be no abortion at all. I asked both of them the question about being raped and Guadalupe said that there is a choice if they want to or not. Rebeca showed no remorse and said that there should be no abortion even if raped. I belive that the woman has the choice and that they see abortion as a sort of killing a child. Therefor, I see that we see both sides of the argument and we respect them with the solution we came up with.
